Ever since I was first able to hold a crayon, I’ve wanted to be a writer. I still have that first story I wrote about a wolf, scribbled in crayon on yellow legal paper. All through my life, I have always written and drawn little things in journals, on backs of envelopes, random pieces of cardboard, whatever I could find. I’d still sometimes use crayons. I started this blog because I thought it might be nice to finally share some of my fiction work with others, instead of shoving all those scraps of paper into the bottom of the diaper bag, never to be seen again. So, thanks for reading, I really appreciate it!

I’m also available for freelance writing and illustration work. I have a Masters degree in Education and a BA in Health Arts and Science. Throughout my 15 year teaching career, I’ve written (and drawn) for health and wellness blogs as well as educational blogs, newsletters, and publications. I am happy to share my writing samples and work within any budget. Feel free to contact me and let’s make this happen!
